The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge Near Denver is Home to Natural Wonders

Colfax Marathon in Denver Gives Runners A Unique Tour of Mile High City

Excitement is building as the Mile High City gets set to welcome thousands of runners and spectators for the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon in Denver, May 18 - 19, 2013.

The Colfax Marathon in Denver, celebrating its 8th year in 2013, is a Boston Marathon Qualifier that offers runners a truly unique tour of the Mile High City throughout the 26.2 mile course. Runners will pound the pavement through five sections that start and end in City Park, taking them into downtown and historic Denver, along the river and through famous attractions like Mile High Stadium and Confluence Park.

The marathon is not the only event during the weekend. There are seven races total ranging in distances from the Colfax 5K and Urban 10 Miler to the Colfax Half Marathon as well as team events like the Marathon Relay, Corporate Cup and Government Cup.
