Denver offers a wide selection of Halloween events for people of all ages.
Halloween is another holiday that the city of Denver takes seriously. Beginning in September, many of our local museums and other attractions get a spooky transformation for the haunting season. From spooky to sweet, Mile High Halloween events in 2014 offer something for everyone!
Corn Maze at the Denver Botanic Gardens - September 19th - November 1st
One of the best corn mazes in Colorado is back with a new butterfly design! Denver Botanic Garden’s corn maze is 8-acres and features life-sized animal cutouts for kids to find. When it gets dark in October, the maze transforms into a glow maze with black lights and tall glow sticks. If you’re feeling brave once you complete the glow maze, enter the Dead Zone, the garden’s haunted maze. Other Halloween festivities include hayrides, giant pillow jumping, pony and train rides, and pumpkin picking.
October Ghost Ride with Ebner Tours - October 11th & 18th
Join Ebner Tours on their October Ghost Ride through Cheeseman Park and Capitol Hill. After exploring these locations, a motor coach will take you to Anderson Farms for their corn maze and pumpkin patch. Sit around a fire and enjoy traditional campfire snacks, visit the petting zoo, and go on the Terror of the Corn haunted hayride if you dare.
Denver Zombie Crawl at Skyline Park - October 18th
Be a human or a “walker” at Guiness World Records’ World Record Zombie Crawl! The crawl features several fun activities including the Organ Trail, which is a zombie scavenger hunt in Downtown Denver, the Zombie Crawl Parade, Thriller dance, and and the Denver Zombie Prom and Sub.Mission Stay Alive official Zombie Crawl after party.
Boo at the Zoo & After Dark at Denver Zoo - October 24th - 26th
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Boo at the Zoo! During the day or night, visit 25 trick-or-treat stations throughout the zoo in your costume. Families will enjoy animal demonstrations and entertainment under the zoo’s canopy.
The haunting season is the perfect time to visit the Renaissance Denver Hotel. Our location near Downtown Denver is conveniently located near the city’s best Halloween attractions. Enjoy beautiful views of fall foliage and the Rocky Mountains from our guest room balconies.
