As the weather gets cooler, the ice is freezing at our local rinks and is ready to welcome those who want to glide across it. If you’re looking for something fun to do on your next trip to the Mile High City, add ice skating in Denver to your travel agenda. Check out these skating rinks!
Big Bear Ice Arena
The Big Bear Ice Arena is known for providing some of the best indoor ice skating around. Enjoy public skate times or take a lesson. Grab a stick and join a drop-in hockey game, stick and puck session, or even form a team or play as a free agent in the arena’s Big Beer Cup.
The Ice Ranch is known for its diverse programs that have even been featured on TV. Take advantage of public skate time, and if you’re feeling competitive, join in on a game of hockey, Broomball, or curling. Take advantage of the rink’s Zam Camp and drive the Zamboni across the ice! Ice Ranch also has its own restaurant and coffee shop.
Southwest Rink at Skyline Park
One of the most popular attractions of Mile High Holidays is outdoor skating in Skyline Park! From November 25th, 2014 - February 16th, 2015, Southwest Rink will be open daily to the public. Kids skate for free every Sunday.
This fall, head to the Renaissance Denver Hotel! After some time on the ice, warm up with your favorite Starbucks beverage in our Elevate Lounge. Our comfortable Renaissance Beds and soft linens will keep you cozy throughout the night.
