Get ready for six days of German cultural events (and a few Denver has created as well). Put on your lederhosen or dirndl and hoist your stein for the Denver Oktoberfest!
This year marks the 45th anniversary of the festival rated as “the best Oktoberfest in the USA” by Maxim and USA Today. Whether you’re German or not, participate in traditions such as stein hoisting and indulge in quality bier, bratwursts, pretzels, and more. If you’re feeling competitive, enter the costume and eating contests, or bring your full or half-breed Dachshund for the Long Dog Derby. Make sure your dancing shoes are on; polka and other musical groups will be playing from morning to night each day of the festival. Last year’s event attracted over 350,000 people!
September 19th - 21st,
26th - 28th
20th and Larimer Streets
Continue the fun after the festival at the Renaissance Denver Hotel! If you’ll be bringing your Dachshund for the event, both you and your pup will rest peacefully in our pet-friendly guest rooms with special pet amenities available. Both of our eateries offer some of the best brews Denver and the surrounding area have to offer.
We hope to see you for the Denver Oktoberfest!
