Visit this summer fair in Denver, the "Craziest County Fair in America!"

The 2015 Annual Denver County Fair has been called many things, from "groundbreaking" to "unconventional" to "the craziest county fair in America!" Summer events in Denver are known for their creativity, and this county fair is no exception. The event will take place on Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 2nd, at the National Western Complex in the Humboldt Street Historic District in Denver.

The fair is split into different pavilions that offer all sorts of fun activities, from the animal pavilion to the kids and sports pavilions, which will be hosting the Air Hockey World Championships. There are a variety of great places where you can kick back, relax and enjoy some great food. The fair will be host to a pizza parlor, a number of grills and steak houses, food courts, food trucks, a "beer garden" and a coffee shop.

Among the Denver County Fair events and attractions are:

• The Carnival: open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday;
12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

• Summerland Tour 2015 presented by Rock Panther: this concert is performed at the National Western Stadium Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m. on Saturday and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets range from 30 to 150 dollars and include a three-day Denver County Fair pass. The concert features Everclear, Toadies, Fuel and American Hi-Fi.
• Internet Cat Film Festival: the carnival will feature daily showings of the cat film festival, which is presented by Minneapolis' Walker Art Center.

The parties kick off before July 4th with Independence Eve 2015, presented by Anadarko, and culminating with a grand display of fireworks in Denver. To many locals, this sixth annual fireworks show, laser light display and concert is the perfect start to celebrating American independence and freedom. This year's performance will feature local funk act Funkiphino and the 101st Army Concert Band. The event is free to the public and easily accessible by bike or public transport.

Park Hill 4th of July Parade | July 4th at 1:30 PM
Early afternoon will see the launch of the Park Hill 4th of July Parade. The parade kicks off at 1:30, with staging for participants beginning at 12:30 p.m. Running from Dexter Street to Krameria Street, the annual event will bring with it a retinue of floats, marching bands, classic cars and acrobats. The Park Hill community wants to invite everyone out for their family-friendly celebration of American culture.
